This flexographic printing press combines advanced servo control with gearless sleeve technology to deliver precise, stable performance at high production speeds. A German Baumüller control and operating system coordinates the press, with dual servo motors driving each printing unit. In the 12-color configuration with three die-cutting stations and a conveying platform, 37 servo drives provide synchronized control throughout the machine.
Air-supported sleeve shafts allow quick, convenient changes of plate-mounted or engraved sleeves. The gearless, servo-driven printing cylinders help improve print quality and reduce maintenance. Bearer-supported printing rollers simplify impression and ink-transfer pressure settings, requiring only minor adjustments at the support frames when changing cylinders or accommodating special printing requirements.
Chilled anvil rollers help control heat from UV curing, supporting consistent performance when printing temperature-sensitive films. The unwind section incorporates corona treatment, web cleaning, and static elimination to prepare the material for printing and promote reliable print quality.
