PA 250 / 300 / 350 Shrink Sleeve Seaming
The Polly Automatic PA250/300/350 converts flat shrink film into tubular sleeves ready for downstream cutting and application. The motor-driven system uses automatic tension control and web guiding to keep the film aligned as it folds, applies adhesive, seams, and rewinds the finished sleeve. Polly lists top speeds of 450–500 m/min (1,476–1,640 ft/min) across the series, with finished sleeve widths starting at 30 mm (1.18 in.) and reaching 250, 300, or 350 mm (9.84, 11.81, or 13.78 in.), depending on the model.
Automatic sleeve-width adjustment helps maintain consistent sizing during production, and a built-in stroboscope lets operators visually inspect the seam while the web is running. The line also includes edge-trim removal, easy-tear perforation, and a microperforation unit that can be positioned before or after seaming. These features let converters handle multiple sleeve formats and add tear lines or microholes in the same pass.
